Business Development Manager (BDM) Latin America (50-100%)

Beedle is growing and we’re looking for a passionate Business Development Manager (BDM) for Latin America.

Education is a business conducted in the local countries, with the local language, often requiring personal on-site contact. We intend to grow exponentially in the Education sector within the next years and especially within LATAM.

Therefore, we are searching for a talented and motivated Business Development Manager to join us in our LATAM region, who understands the local context and develops the local Beedle Business.
The ideal candidate will have some Education background and good experience and proof within sales and marketing. This is a high relationship building, strategic and hands-on position, requiring a high degree of creativity, independence, and excellence in commercial execution.

 

Role Definition

The role is within the commercial team and reports directly to the Beedle CCO. The BDM understands how Beedle can be pitched to schools and decision-makers in a local context and communicates this knowledge effectively among local education professionals.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Develop a business strategy together with the Beedle Management Team for the region that will gain more users and execute according to the decisions.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders (local Microsoft Education Team, the network of local education professionals, partners, …), maintain personal contact with them, and get a good overview and understanding of the marketing opportunities in the region.
• Present, demonstrate and support the Beedle solutions within the LATAM region.
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs, and actively build the business in LATAM.
• Work closely with the Beedle Marketing Team on various marketing content, including social media assets and promotions
• Find Advisory Schools, Partners, Microsoft Innovative Education Experts, and Microsoft Showcase Schools in the region. Get in touch with them, introduce Beedle and seek collaboration.
• Take initiatives and work independently to get in touch with the relevant people in your region and learn about their connections within education. Identify the communication channels Educators are using in the education sector.
• Work together with the Beedle Marketing Team for local marketing campaigns and brainstorm marketing ideas and ways to promote Beedle

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related area; Experience within the education sector is a plus.
• Independent, driven, collaborative, resilient and results-focused
• Experience working closely with marketing and sales to prioritize, develop and execute a sales and marketing strategy.
• Ability to interact with customers spontaneously and intelligently to effectively understand their needs and discuss how they relate to the value of our products in non-technical language
• Excellent spoken and written Spanish, to write content, communicate, and present ideas.
• Experience working with a CRM, as well as various marketing analytics and automation tools.
• Able to work independently and as part of a Team.
• A quick learner who engages in a positive approach to challenges, with an ambition to become an expert in our products
